Some Changes

You all will notice some changes for 2008.

1. It's soooo much easier for me to process orders that are placed through the online ordering system. Therefore, prints ordered through the online proofing will be reflect a discount of 10%. To get the discount price, orders must be placed online - not through the telephone or email. :) Again, I am just doing this to make things easier on me - I work full time and do this on the side so my time is very valuable to me and my family.

2. January is now booked. February and March are starting to fill up so, if you're interested, I suggest that you make an appointment now.

3. There will be some specials announced in January. I'm not sure exactly what I plan to do yet because I want it to be something great and different, sooo stay tuned - hopefully I'll make a decision soon.

Christmas Deadline

Is very quickly approaching. Ideally, orders should have been placed by now. However, I know I squeezed some of you in at the last minute so I realize that those orders will be a little past my "normal" deadline. :)

For Christmas cards, I strongly suggest that your order be placed by December 7th. At this time, i am having a turnaround time of about a week (usually faster, but a week is the soonest that I can guarantee it). Therefore, please have all orders placed by 5 pm on Friday, December 7th. This will give me time to process all orders and make sure they are in your hands in plenty of time for you to get them in the mail.

For regular photos, I can extend the deadline a few days for guaranteed Christmas delivery. On regular prints, please have your orders to me by 5 pm on December 11th. Any orders received after that date MAY be in in time for Christmas, but I cannot promise that they will be.

New Year Specials

Will be posted soon. As soon as I recover from all of the Christmas sessions (and a wedding that I'm still working on), I will be posting specials valid for the first few months of 2008. I've already booked a few sessions for January so there are only a few slots remaining. If you want a session in January, I suggest you book right away.

I'll also be showing some examples of custom Valentine's Day cards soon - a great way to show off your little sweethearts! :)

Some Updates

Thanks to all of you who have had sessions the past few weeks. Although I had several more sessions than normal, I think that everything has gone very smoothly. . . thank you all for that! :)

Just a few reminders. . . .

Keep in mind -if you want Christmas cards I will create a few samples for you and upload them to your gallery after you let me know which size you prefer and which photos and wording you'd like to see in the templates (the templates are located in the proofing section under Christmas Cards - password is christmas).

Orders will not be placed until I have money in my hands. For those of you that use the online ordering system, this is no problem. However, if you prefer NOT to use the online ordering system, please EMAIL your order to me and keep in mind that you are responsible for getting the money to me before I will place your order.

On orders over $150, I am shipping directly to your house, mainly to save both of us time. However, please remember that, in doing this, I do not see the prints before you so if there is any problem at all, please let me know immediately!! I will notify you via email once the order has been placed so that you can be on the lookout for your prints.

I will not be working as much on photos Wednesday evening through next Sunday due to Thanksgiving. I will be doing some things, but I cannot promise that your emails and/or calls will be returned as quickly as normal!

Added another photo last night. Jessica, I'm about 1/2 way through proofing your photos. I do have a session tonight so it may be the weekend before I get them all done and up for your viewing.

Update on Available Sessions

Sorry I'm not posting as often as I'd like, but there simply aren't enough hours in the day!!

I wanted to give everyone an update on the availability of sessions. I am currently booked until next year (January 15, 2008 to be exact).

I had a great wedding yesterday with Jeremy and Jennifer. Hopefully I will have a few sneak peak photos up for viewing within the next few days.

Christmas Sessions going fast

I have only one weekend Christmas session remaining on November 17th. I do still have a couple of weekend openings in October, but once those spots are filled - that's it. Keep in mind that I do take a few week day evening sessions as well. But, I did want to warn everyone of the fact that the weekend sessions are almost gone.

Christmas Specials

I didn't realize how long it had been since I'd taken the time to do a blog entry! I guess the summer is getting away from me. . . . Karsyn will be going starting first grade in just a few weeks. . . my babies are growing up :(

Anyway, I know to most of you this will seem a bit early, but. . . in order to (hopefully) keep from stressing myself out too much, I'm starting the Christmas rush early this year.

Christmas sessions will be available October 1 - November 30th. The order deadline for Christmas delivery is December 10th.

I do have several specials available for these sessions, but, most importantly, the first 8 (eight) sessions booked during this time period (Oct 1 - Nov 15) will receive 24 wallets FREE with your regular paid order.

Specials are as follows:

With $100 paid at the session, you can have a choice of the two (both include the session fee):

A. 25 5x7 custom cards with envelopes and 10 - 4x5 proofs of your choice

B. 25 5x7 custom cards with envelopes and 2 sets of 24 wallets (one pose per set of 24).

In addition, as an add on to either of the above, OR with a regular session fee, you are eligible for the following packages:

Colleen has changed so much since her first session! She was so much fun and, obviously, is absolutely ADORABLE!! I'm not too far into proofing her session, but these two are my favorites so far. I'll list my summer specials soon. However, for the time being, I am running the following special (I'm calling it the WANT MORE? SPECIAL):

May 1 - May 14 only -- Reorders (sizes 5x7 - 11x14) from previously ordered sessions (at least $100 order already placed) will be 25% off the regular prices. Again, this applies ONLY if you have already ordered at least a $100 worth of photos from your session and only applies to sizes 5x7 thru 11x14. To qualify for the special, orders and payment must be received by May 14th.

I have found the time to step into the world of blogging!
